planning for a film (starter)

starter...

when we are doing our logistics planning for a film, one of the most important things we need to consider is time.

timescales are a very important part of our time planning.

what are we referring to when we talk about timescales?
timescales are the time allowed for or taken by a process or sequence of events. e.g. deadlines. the time we have in addition to how we use that time.

if we don't give due consideration to timescales what might some of the negative consequences be?

  • falling behind schedule.
  • messing up the times that actors are needed for scenes.
  • might have to cut certain scenes if times get mixed up.
  • domino effect.
