starter: what logistical areas of focus are there in the time category? (there are four of them). deadlines - deadlines are important to production because they make sure that every task that's needs completing is done on time. timescales -  personnel - 

starter... when we are doing our logistics planning for a film, one of the most important things we need to consider is time. timescales are a very important part of our time planning. what are we referring to when we talk about timescales? timescales are the time allowed for or taken by a process or sequence of events. e.g. deadlines. the time we have in addition to how we use that time. if we don't give due consideration to timescales what might some of the negative consequences be? falling behind schedule. messing up the times that actors are needed for scenes. might have to cut certain scenes if times get mixed up. domino effect.

production equipment... production equipment refers to all the equipment used on a film set put another way, production equipment includes any equipment that is needed fro a film to be shot. production equipment - lighting - lighting - used for creating the scene with a specific mood or atmosphere light stands - to hold the lights up and in the right position  generator - large power outlet for any and all equipment that needs it filters -  gels - can be used for colour exposure diffusion - to soften light grip stands -  reflectors - grip accessories -   grip equiptment - micro task: what equipment and accessories might a grip use on a film set? grip stands filters gels camera package - camera stock or media lenses - narrow or wide field of view? filters  tripods - also known as legs and sticks (two types: fluid head tripod and hydraulic) camera movement - dolly track accessories - wedges, etc sound equipment -  s...
