This report was written with the aim to explain the pre-production process that takes place before the creation of any creative media product. Pre-production is the sequence of plans and events that occur before you start to film and develop your media product. It has many different stages like casting, securing your locations, and creating a screenplay. One of the initial stages of pre-production is casting and finding your crew. Casting can happen in a variety of ways. This can involve planning auditions, looking at everyone's audition tapes, and finally, picking and choosing you final selection of personnel. Within smaller productions, it's not uncommon for family and friends to be asked to take part. Gathering your crew is quite different.
